I was fed up with these stupid books about new age teachings.the title of the book"the power of now" even motivated my scepticism.but as it was my shrink who recommended it and as i trust her.i went for it.and i'm so happy with it,that i give it as a gift anytime i could.

The now is also central to the teaching of sufism, the mystical branch of Islam. Sufis have a saying:" The sufi is the son of time present".
And Rumi, the great poet and teacher of sufism, declares: " Past and future veil God from our sight; burn up both of them with fire".

When fate hands us a lemon let's try to make lemonade. I have come here only seeking knowledge. Things they wouldn't teach me of in college.
